About the role
We are seeking a results-driven and commercially minded Area Manager to strengthen Tom Wood’s presence across the Nordic region. In this role, you will lead sales and distribution strategies, foster strong relationships with wholesale partners and drive measurable growth by both developing existing accounts and expanding into new opportunities.
Based in Oslo as part of our Wholesale team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping Tom Wood’s market performance in the Nordics. This position reports directly to the Wholesale Director and involves frequent travel across the region, as well as regular visits to our Paris showroom.
Key responsibilities
Strategy & account management
- Lead and execute sales strategies with a primary focus on the Nordics, while also supporting growth in other strategically important European markets
- Build strong, lasting relationships with key partners and ensure top-tier service and support
- Visit priority markets to deliver training, incentives, and brand storytelling
- Keep customer and sales data updated for smooth operations
Sales growth
- Proactively work toward reaching sales targets through account management
- Identify and secure new business opportunities with partners that match our brand in both existing and emerging markets
- Use market insights and research to guide commercial decisions
Market & product expertise
- Stay on top of jewellery and fashion trends at any time
- Deepen product knowledge and communicate our story with impact
- Share market feedback to help shape future collections
Sales reporting & analysis
- Track and analyse results to spot opportunities and improve performance
- Report on sales activity and market trends to guide strategy
- Use data to refine approaches and drive growth
Who we are looking for
- Proven experience in international sales with 3+ years in fashion, jewellery or luxury goods
- Strong commercial drive with a consistent track record of achieving growth and delivering results
- Analytical mindset with the ability to leverage data to guide decisions
- Highly organized, structured, and proactive - with meticulous attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills in English, additional languages are a plus but not required
- Strong understanding of fashion distribution, wholesale operations and online retail with particular insight into Nordic markets, as well as experience across multiple European regions
- Ability to leverage digital tools and platforms to support sales, reporting, and partner communication
- Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness to travel across assigned regions
- A curious, solution-oriented approach and a strong passion for the industry
